"Bukowski Was Drunk Here" neoprene koozie

Carry a cold one in this koozie anywhere around the South Bay and the statement will most likely be true.

Author and poet, Charles Bukowski lived in San Pedro the last 14 or so years of his life. He spent a lot of time around the South Bay at places like Either/Or Bookstore, The Mermaid, The Poopdeck, The Bijou, The Bull Pen, the Redondo Pier and all over San Pedro. His wife Linda owned a small health food store in the Riviera on Avenida Del Norte. The story goes that on his first venture to South Redondo to meet Linda at her store, he got lost and ended up at The Bull Pen, where he had a drink and then used a pay phone to call her to help him find her store. Bukowski's last ever public reading of his poetry was at The Sweetwater venue in Redondo Beach at 264 North Harbor Drive, which was recorded and released on vinyl titled "Hostage."
